Privacy notice
Who is responsible
Clear Observer Weekly is published by MEDIA OF MUSE LTD, company number 11891755, registered office C/O Grit Financials Limited Dartford Business Park, Victoria Road, Dartford, Kent, England, DA1 5FS. MEDIA OF MUSE LTD decides how any personal data connected with the site is used, and is the controller for the purposes of UK data protection law.
What we collect
The site has no accounts, no comment sections, no newsletter sign-up and no forms. It does not ask for your name, email address, telephone number or any other personal detail, and it does not use analytics, advertising pixels or tag managers.
The self-check in the article runs entirely in your browser. The answers you pick are not sent to us or to anyone else, and they are not saved: reloading or leaving the page clears them.
Technical logs
Like any website, the site is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers may keep standard technical logs, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.
When you follow a link to another company
Some links on the site lead to the website of another company, such as Survey Junkie. The web address of such a link contains campaign reference codes so that a visit can be attributed to this article. The codes do not contain any personal information about you. Once you arrive on the other company’s site, its own privacy notice governs anything you enter or do there, and we recommend reading it before you register.
If you write to us
If you contact us by post, we will use what you send only to read and reply to your message, and we will keep it for as long as needed to deal with it and for any record-keeping the law requires. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering correspondence about the site.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, and to ask for a copy, a correction, erasure or restriction of it, and to object to certain uses. Because the site itself collects no personal data, there will usually be little to find, but you are welcome to ask. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator.
Children
The site is written for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we change how the site handles personal data, we will update this notice and the date at the top of the page. You can reach us through the contact page, and the cookies page explains what the site does and does not store on your device.
